Counting each and every day
Seconds to months
Distance is just a measurable lie
Of what relies between heart and mind
18 Miles;
How many times
Do I have to tell you
You're lovely just the way you are
Don't let the world, change you
Don't let their words, break you
And if you ever choose a road that leads nowhere
All alone and you can’t see right from wrong
And if you ever lose yourself out there
Come on home and I’ll sing you my song
18 Miles;
So many winding roads
So many miles to go
Am I fearless? Or do I just fear less?
Well, fear is for the brave
18 Miles,
I don't have many and I don't have much
But I know I've got enough
The brilliance of your eyes
The shine that ignites after you smile
I will wait till I shouldn't
To see what He had carved on you
Closer to my line of sight
